What do you charge? My rates vary depending on location, number of children and the amount of time you need me. You can get an idea here, but if you get in touch we can chat through how I can help and I’ll be happy to send you a quote.
-
What deposit do I need to pay to secure a booking?A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a booking. The remaining balance will be due at the end of the booking, once your child is back in your care.
-
What ages do you work with?I have experience working with newborns all the way up to young adults. The majority of my families have primary school aged children and a toddler but I’m very happy to work with any age.
-
Where will you travel?I’m based in West Sussex and I typically work in South London and the Southern Home Counties, but if you’re further afield let’s chat – it’s always fun to have an adventure!
-
What days are you available?I’m typically available Friday morning through to Monday evening.
-
What hours can I book?I offer flexible childcare for single days, overnights, and full weekends. So whether you need me for a few hours or a long weekend, I’m here to help. I have a minimum number of hours which is area-dependent. You can find the minimum hours for your area here.
-
Can I get a reference from families you’ve worked with before?Yes! I’m happy to put you in touch directly with families I work with now, or that I’ve worked with in the past. Let me know how you’d prefer to chat with them and I will pass on your details.
-
Do you have a car?I have my own car if you’d like me to take your family out for the day, or in case of emergencies. You may need to provide a suitable car seat, or I’m happy to use my daughter’s seat if your child is a similar age. I’m also happy to drive your car if preferred, subject to being put on the insurance. My fuel allowance is the statutory 45p per mile if I take your children anywhere.
-

Do you have insurance?Yes, I am insured with Morton Michel which covers business insurance including using my car while nannying.
-

How do you keep me updated with how the day is going with your child/children?I will add you on WhatsApp and send you messages, pictures, videos so that you know your children are having fun and in safe hands.
-
Are you ok with pets?I’m happy to help where I can with well-behaved pets. After all, they’re part of the family! However, I’m here to look after your little humans, so if your dog/cat/crocodile requires walks you’ll need to find a walker.
-
Are you able to cook?I’m happy to cook simple meals but if you’d like your children to eat anything that requires a lot of cooking I would ask that you prepare it in advance, ready for me to add the finishing flourish!
